Victoria + Albert Cabrits Bath Collection

Victoria + Albert's new Cabrits bath – featuring a strikingly unique double-curve design – will be unveiled in Milan at the fast-approaching Salone del Mobile. Named after the exotic National Park in the Caribbean, Cabrits is an exclusive peninsula at the northern end of the island of Dominica that features tropical forests, coral reefs and wetlands. The Cabrits landscape still displays the two volcanoes that were once active in the region, which are mirrored in the bath's silhouette.

The design brief for this highly unique model was focused on redesigning the freestanding bath for today's design-conscious consumers. Concentrating on such key factors as form and function, the bath is a fusion of high-end art and modern ergonomics. The design is compact enough to fit into a variety of bathrooms and is also incredibly ecologically-sound.

The double dip design is contoured to fit the body and consequently offers a revolution in bathing comfort and improved support for the mid and lower body. The matchless design aesthetic is sure to impress designers and homeowners alike whilst offering a completely new bathing experience.

Ideal for modern lifestyles and settings, Cabrits can extend the bathing experience out into the bedroom and other open spaces within the home. This added flexibility is appreciated by homeowners who prefer unconventional open-plan living and freedom to use their homes in a way that suits their lifestyle needs.

The bath is complemented by the streamlined Cabrits 55 vessel basin, offering customers a complete package. Warm to the touch, the basin features a crisp edged rim. It is the lowest slung Victoria + Albert vessel to date measuring at just over 100mm / 4", and the compact 55cm width boasts versatility in incorporating -his and hers' arrangements.

With a maximum volume of 176 litres, Cabrits is highly water-efficient, offering a luxurious bathing experience without the need for excessive filling. When paired with Victoria + Albert's unique QUARRYCAST composition – which promotes hot water insulation and means less need for topping up – it is by far the most water efficient Victoria + Albert bath in the range, whilst also being one of the most comfortable and supportive to the bather.

Taking Australian water regulations into consideration, Cabrits is water wise and encourages sensible water practices by promoting water sustainability and conservation. This is an exciting feature for developers wanting to add value to their properties by combining a 'premium model' master bath distinctively designed with low water volume.

Cabrits bath is 1739mm long, 745mm wide and 561mm deep from the rim to the floor. It is made from 100% QUARRYCAST and weighs 63 k.
