Stanley and his pet goldfish Dennis explore an excited, animated world of animals while learning important lessons along the way with their 'Great Big Book Of Everything'. Stanley with the help of Dennis learns important life lessons that add to his personal growth and self-confidence in each episode.

HOP TO IT
Four fun and educational episodes; Kangaroo clean up, The Big Spill, Ant Picnic and Sloth for a Day. Stanley learns how to solve problems, cooperate and share with his friends and clean up for himself. In Kangaroo clean up we find Stanley with a dilemma, he has to clean up his room before dinner or there is no desert. Using his big book of everything he tries to find an animal to help him clean up, but it ends in disaster. With the help of Dennis to guide him back onto the right path, Stanley figures out a way to clean up his room using the lesson he has learnt from the kangaroo. What an enterprising way for kids to learn about animals plus valuable lessons in life. I particularly liked the lesson on why not to be a sloth.

SPRING FEVER
Four fun and educational episodes; Searching for Spring, Save the Bluebird, Caterpiller Countdown and Baby Pictures. Stanley and his pals long for the start of spring. They learn about Mother Nature's signs of spring, respecting and protecting the environment and its creatures and about changing and growth. In the search for spring Stanley visits the famous groundhog, Phil, who although a legend is not always right. But all is not lost and Stanley and his friends learn to become detectives and read Mother Nature's signs that spring is on it's way. The fourth episode, Baby Pictures explains how people and animals grow.

The music is catchy (performed by BaHa Men) and the topics appealing to both parents & children. Stephanie, our expert junior critic, gave it: big clapping hands, bop on the spot, while being captivated with Stanley & his friends. Highly recommended.
