Celebrities sparkled on the evening of May 1, 2007 as they toasted Australias leading makeup artist and cosmetics brand, Napoleon Perdis, there to celebrate the unveiling of the 5,000 square foot Napoleon Perdis Hollywood Flagship store and makeup academy, the first of its kind since Max Factor in 1935.

Guests included actresses Melissa George, Kelly Hu, Kimberly Elise, CSI Miamis Christine Lakin, Nikki Griffin, supermodel Beverly Johnson, musician Katrina Carlson, tattoo artist extraordinaire from Miami Ink Kat Von D, US Olympic figure skater Sasha Cohen, The Insiders Victoria Recano and E! Channel host Catt Sadler. Guests were spoiled with summer cocktails designed by Circoc Vodka and Oronoco Elixiar, makeovers, US celebrity DJ Braden, and an inside look at Napoleons vision for a return to the Golden Age of beauty and Hollywood glamour.

The Hollywood location of the Napoleon Perdis Flagship, houses both a retail boutique and makeup academy under one roof, is the first full-service cosmetics destination since Max Factor more than 70 years ago. Like his legendary predecessor, the Napoleon Perdis Flagship provides the kind of pampering and personal attention of cosmetics boutiques during Hollywoods 'Golden Age.'

Adding to the Hollywood glamour of the event, A-list guests received a gift bag valued at over US $10,000! Guests were adorned with a bounty including luxury silk products from Kookoon, clothing from exclusive Beverly Hills boutique Donald J Pilner, spa treatments from Exhale M Body Spa and the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, a one year supply of Pure Soy candles complimentary yoga classes from YogaWorks, hair appliances from FHI, Godiva chocolates, HuePhoria Glassware, a Chaya restaurant voucher while Australian prestige jeweller, Canturi provided jewels on the night to add glamour to the event.

The Napoleon Perdis Hollywood Flagship store also offers an a la carte menu of VIP services including everything from a personalised concierge onsite, limousine transfers, private rooms and VIP entrances for celebrities, manicure and pedicure services to complete makeovers for takeovers guaranteeing an experience nothing short of total indulgence.

In the USA, Napoleon Perdis has four stand alone stores, counters in Saks Fifth Avenue stores and 25 independent retail outlets with more expansion plans soon to be announced for 2007.

In Canada, Napoleon Perdis is exclusively partnered The Bay department store with 50 counters throughout the country. In addition, Napoleon Perdis has 58 stand-alone concept stores across Australia and New Zealand with over 740 point-of-sale locations including an exclusive partnership with David Jones.
