It's a British invasion of the latest in fashion and accessories

THE bright red and blue colours of Britain's Union Jack are the inspiration for the newest release of clutches, bags, wallets, totes and neckwear from GLAM Accessories.

The new range features clutches with the Union Jack in dazzling sequins and bead work, and the remainder of the items in solid reds and blues from belts to scarves and even fascinators.

GLAM Accessories Product Developer Jessica Russ said Union Jack-inspired items were proving a popular and hot selling line in other countries and expected Australia to follow.

"In our recent buying travels we noticed the Union Jack popping up on everything," she said. "We wanted to be among the first to introduce it here.

"The British flag makes quite a bold statement on its own and we could see the fun designers were having with it. We wanted to follow suit and create our own line which we now have.

"Obviously, the clutches that show the Union Jack image are the most popular but the other solid colours are also finding favour for their deepness and richness."

The British invasion range will be in Groove stores from early March.
