While being chauffeured across Manhattan to get a haircut, the young Wall Street titan's world begins to unravel: a sham marriage, sex addiction, phobias and paranoia, all amidst his crumbing empire. As the day devolves into an odyssey that tears his world apart, Eric starts to piece together clues that lead him to a terrifying secret: his imminent assassination.

Based on the book by legendary US writer Don DeLillo, masterfully directed by David Cronenberg and screened in competition for the Palme d'Or at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Cosmopolis is an existential drama exploring the global financial crisis and revealing a side to Robert Pattinson we have never seen on screen. Dark, dense and deep, Cosmopolis is Cronenberg back to his best.
