MAE Tour

Influential Virginia rock band Mae will be touring Australia nationally in March 2015 for the first time in seven years to celebrate the anniversary of their album The Everglow. The band, whose name is an acronym for Multi-sensory Aesthetic Experience, last toured Australia in 2008 as apart of Soundwave Festival that year. This time around fans will be able to hear The Everglow in its entirety.

The Everglow, released in 2005, was the MAEs' second studio album. To date it has been the bands most successful release and at the time was described as 'progressive power pop touched with emo" featuring fan favorites such as 'Someone Else's Arms,' and 'Anything'.

"Ten years ago we released "The Everglow" into the world as both an album and a story about the grand journey that all of us navigate. It told the story of our own journey from a small city on the Virginia coast out into the broader world. From Toledo to Tokyo. More importantly, it has become the soundtrack to many of your stories too. We have been honored to see the way you have woven this music into your own lives. From births to deaths, from first loves to first dances, from baby names to tattoos, you have made this your record. And we want to hear your story." - Mae

The tour will be supported by indie-pop outfit Nova and the Experience who recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Chris Murphy's Murphy Rights Management / Universal and just off from playing CMJ Music Marathon in New York.
