James Bond Ultimate Edition DVD Collection

For the first time ever, MGM Home Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment bring you the Bond classics like never before - individually in two-disc Ultimate Editions.

Forever known as having the finest in women, villains, cars and gadgets, James Bond will now enjoy the optimum in DVD with the release of THE JAMES BOND ULTIMATE EDITION DVD COLLECTION. Each Bond title is available as a special two-disc Ultimate Edition with one disc including the film and the second full of great special features all for under $20. Having gone through the most extensive restoration project ever undertaken for a film, or group of films, the James Bond titles have propelled to the ultimate level of picture, sound and special features.

MGM Home Entertainment spent the past two and a half years carrying out a full picture restoration and digital 5.1 surround mix on all 20 of the Bond films. This process was done under the expert supervision of film restorer John Lowry and other visionaries at DTS Digital Images, the leaders in the industry of digital film restoration. As a result of this frame by frame restoration, using the most sophisticated digital imaging technology available and the upgrade to DTS 5.1 surround sound, fans can now see and hear James Bond like never before.

To fully upgrade the James Bond Collection DVDs, MGM also enlisted the secret services of Bond expert John Cork, who compiled the most comprehensive special features ever experienced on a Bond release. Included in the dossier of extras are deleted scenes, lost footage, audio commentaries, actor screen tests, interviews, and new documentaries all selected from over 10,000 hours of material.

No other film series has made such an impact on the movie industry than the 20 James Bond films, from Dr No in 1962 to the $432 million smash hit Die Another Day in 2002. Therefore it is appropriate that these titles received the royal treatment in preparation of this Ultimate Edition, timed to coincide with the release of the 21st Bond film, Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig as the ultimate secret agent, codenamed 007.

The James Bond Ultimate Edition DVD Collection includes:
