Dana Marschz (Steve Coogan) is a failed actor and recovering alcoholic who finds himself in Tucson teaching drama to high school students. Informed that his elective drama classes will be cancelled next semester and on the advice of a student reviewer, Dana decides to stage his own play - a politically incorrect sequel to Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Along with his class of unmotivated gangbangers, Dana stages one of the most contentious musical-theatre spectaculars ever seen, putting it all on the line for one night of extreme hilarity!
