Sara Berki Releases Brand New Single 'Porch Light'
Following a stellar performance at the NRL's Women's Grand Final in Sydney last week, country singer-songwriter sensation Sara Berki today releases her brand new single 'Porch Light' and announces her brand new and raw EP Outrun - set to be released on November 28 via Warner Music Australia. Listen here and pre-order/pre-save the EP here.

Speaking on 'Porch Light', Sara shares, "Porch Light was a hard song to write because it came from a place that was all too familiar to me; a relationship that is just not working but is too hard to leave. It's about the quiet pull between what can really hurt and what can also feel like home. There was a lot of healing and moving on involved with this one, even though it was kind of written about something that happened a long time ago, I hadn't dealt with it or let go of it properly."

Outrun
, the brand new EP is set to drop next month and display the raw side to Sara Berki. On the EP, she said, "I started 2025 with my first headline tour and it was an amazing experience. Each night I got to do two sets – the first one was solo; raw and acoustic - and the second with my band; charged & electric. The In the Neon EP represented the electric side of me and now Outrun displays the raw side.

What a whirlwind 2025 has been and I can't think of a better way to book end the year than with this collection of songs, built on pure emotions and vulnerability – taken from experiences I have lived and some I have imagined."

Speaking further on the EP, Sara said, "I am proud to have written four of the five songs on this EP in their entirety ('Outrun', 'Porch Light', 'Happy House' and 'Heaven & Hell'). I am thrilled to have co-written the fifth song (Lily of the Valley) with Brand Hood and Billy Montana – two Nashville based songwriter/producers that I admire greatly.

Brandon
Hood has recent writing and production credits with Ty Myers, Mackenzie Capenter and Drake Milligan, while Billy Montana has co-written iconic hits including Garth Brooks 'More Than A Memory,' Sara Evans 'Suds in the Bucket' and Lee Brice 'Hard to Love.' "This project would not have been possible without the incredibly talented Beau Hatch (guitar & dobro), Luke Moller (fiddle) and my producer, Liam Quinn, who brought the sounds in my head to life," said Sara.

It has been a stellar year for Sara with her first national headline tour of Australia, the release of the In the Neon EP, receiving a Spotify billboard in Times Square and showcasing at CMA Fest Nashville. While in Nashville, she also performed at the Sounds Australia Aussie BBQ and CMA Fest Spotlight Stage. Sara has an incredible run of festivals including Groundwater CMF, Ridin' Hearts, Queanbeyan Music Muster, Regfest Wangarratta and supporting Rob Thomas at Sandstone Point. In addition to these career highlights, Sara married her long-term partner, Patrick, in May and they announced that they are expecting their first baby in early 2026. With no plans to slow down, Sara is looking forward to returning to the iconic CMC Rocks stages in March 2026.

Sara'
s combination of timeless storytelling with her modern country sensibilities and her down-to-earth presence have helped establish her as one of the most exciting and prolific new artists in country music. With 8.5 million music streams and 10 million video streams, she has built an impressive catalogue of songs since the release of her debut single "Fallin' off the Heartline" in 2022. Capturing audiences not just at home, but globally, it is clear Sara is ready to take her music to the world.

But 2024 marked her true breakout. She performed at major Australian country music festivals like CMC Rocks, Ridin' Hearts Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival, and took the stage at Brisbane's Gabba Stadium for the Brisbane Lions' AFL season opener. Her performance of John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads" at that event went viral, racking up 20 million views across platforms and making her one of the most-watched Australian country artists of the year on YouTube. She also won the APRA Professional Development Award in the Country/Americana category, joining alumni like Gotye, Morgan Evans and Fanny Lumsden.

Sara
kicked off 2025 reaching new milestones with her hit singles "Cowboys Do It Better" and "Looks Like" along with a collaboration with Y.O.G.A. - the country-DJ project of Reuben Styles from Peking Duk ("Forever Hold Your Gun"). This landmark year also set the groundwork for her first ever headline tour at the start of 2025. The tour was unique in that Sara performed two sets each night. The first set was solo, just Sara with her guitar, performing the songs in their most vulnerable form. The second set was with her band, energy high and the crowd singing and dancing to every song. This format was the perfect representation of Sara and where she sits as an artist, songwriter and performer – the introspective singer-songwriter and the good-time, leader of the party.
