At the end of this life, you won't remember how many emails you answered. You'll remember the nights you said yes to, the unexpected twists, the moments that changed everything, and the people who were there beside you through it all.
That's the spirit behind LT's euphoric new single 'Goddamn Right', an infectious feel-good anthem about embracing life's chaos, choosing experience over perfection, and making memories that last long after the night ends.
The single arrives alongside the announcement of LT's debut album, If My Heart Had A Voice, out 9 October, a deeply personal collection of songs born from some of life's most challenging seasons and ultimately, a celebration of resilience, hope and finding your way back to yourself.
"If My Heart Had A Voice is the album I never intended to write, but the one I needed to," says LT. "Looking back, I realise these songs became a diary without me ever meaning them to. They were written through seasons that challenged every part of who I was, but they're not defined by what happened; they're defined by who I chose to become because of it." "This album isn't about having all the answers. It's about choosing to keep going when life feels impossibly heavy, trusting that one day you'll look up and realise you can breathe again. It's about resilience, finding your voice when it feels impossible to speak, and remembering that no matter what life throws at you, it never gets to write your ending."
A soundtrack for late nights, unexpected adventures and embracing the beautifully imperfect moments of life, Goddamn Right blends infectious pop hooks with an indie-folk edge, driving rhythms and a touch of Shaboozey-inspired swagger.
Inspired by the kind of nights that were meant to be just one drink but somehow become stories you'll tell for years, the track celebrates saying yes more often, laughing louder, staying out longer, and spending time with the people who matter most.
Written during a period of personal reinvention, Goddamn Right is about letting go of expectations, caring less about outside opinions and choosing to be present. Set against a backdrop of bars, back streets, and good company, it's a reminder that sometimes the best stories and the best versions of ourselves are found when we stop overthinking and simply live in the moment.
The single was written and produced alongside acclaimed Australian songwriter and producer Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe) and Edwin White (Vance Joy), with additional creative collaborations across the album, including London-based producer Joe White, whom LT connected with online years ago before the pair began creating songs together.
The album's title track collection captures LT's journey through uncertainty, change and transformation, proving that difficult seasons don't get the final word. "These songs are proof that difficult seasons don't get the final word. We do."
Featuring previously released favourites and new material, If My Heart Had A Voice includes:
'Rollercoaster', A powerful reflection on supporting someone through the challenges of living with Bipolar disorder. The track won a category at the International Songwriting Competition and was added to Marketing Melodies in-store entertainment.
'Act Your Age' is a fearless call-out of ageism within the music industry, earning LT a Queensland Music Award for Best Regional Artist. 'Mercy!' is a raw and relatable exploration of social anxiety and the pressure of navigating small talk, with support from Double J Radio and inclusion in British Airways' in-flight entertainment.
'Real Life = No Fun' is the song that reignited LT's belief in music after years of independent writing and releasing. Inspired by the desire to escape everyday responsibilities, hit the road with friends and reconnect with simple joys, the track was featured in the 2026 season of Grey's Anatomy, received rotation on Double J, reached Top 10 most-played status, and earned further international recognition through playlist support including Spotify's New Music Friday and Pop Edge, alongside Apple Music's Alt Pop and New in Alternative playlists.
'Better' A reminder that everyone deserves more, encouraging listeners to find the courage to make the changes they need and choose themselves. Alongside Goddamn Right, the album features new tracks including 'Breathe', a song about release, surrender and finally letting go.
After years of navigating personal challenges and questioning whether music still had a place in her life, LT nearly walked away from it all. The unexpected success of Real Life = No Fun " including its placement on Grey's Anatomy became a turning point, leading to new opportunities, including a publishing deal with Community Music and renewed belief in sharing this record with the world.
Now, with If My Heart Had A Voice, LT transforms those difficult chapters into something universal: a reminder that healing isn't linear, life is unpredictable, and there is always a way forward.
LT's debut album, If My Heart Had A Voice, will be released on 9 October 2026 and will be available digitally and on vinyl.
'Goddamn Right' is available on all streaming platforms now.
