They were written through seasons that challenged every part of who I was, but they're not defined by what happened; they're defined by who I chose to become because of it."

The single was written and produced alongside acclaimed Australian songwriter and producer Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe) and Edwin White (Vance Joy), with additional creative collaborations across the album, including London-based producer Joe White, whom LT connected with online years ago before the pair began creating songs together.
