Husk welcomes Summer with the new collection, Achipelago
Under the name Achipelago, Husk presents its latest collection for Summer 2021, inspired by the desire to escape to exotic beachside locations.
"This collection embodies the idea of wanting to enjoy every moment of hot summer days, island hopping, and snorkelling, diving in crystal clear waters, and soaking up the sun's rays." expressed Creative Director, Kirrily Johnston.
The collection encompasses the perfect Summer dresses made from diaphanous cotton and cool linens in earthy tones mixed back with unexpected pops of energised colour. A wide variety of silhouettes and print offerings make this collection an embodiment of lifestyle. Chunky gold styles nod to heirloom inspiration, whilst beads and coloured stones create interest and drama. Add a touch of metallic with our strappy gold Nefertiti sandal or cooper rope sandal. Accessories such as bold jewels are set to make a statement. Bags are designed to outfit from beach to bar, completing the perfect head to toe resort look.
There is a retro flavour in colour and prints nodding to the 70's but in a modern way. Critical colours for the season are stone, cream, dusty pink, burnt orange, eggshell, rust, lavender, cornflower blue and acid yellow. Unexpected combinations add freshness and interest, seen on textured laces, crisp cotton, and linens.
The new campaign and collection will launch into stores and online for November and December.
About to celebrate 26 successful years in business, Husk's retail operations have expanded from its first boutique in Malvern Road, Toorak to include fourteen stores in some of Australia's premier shopping precincts including two in New Zealand.
