Two Apples

Brooklyn's own married songwriting duo, Jennie Litt and David Alpher have released of their debut recording, Two Apples, a collection of eleven original songs covering topics ranging from lingerie to gym addiction to the random miracle of existence.

Ms. Litt describes Alpher&Litt as 'eclectic writers inspired by American popular song and most comfortable in an idiom that's equal parts musical theatre, Tin Pan Alley, and Tom Lehrer."  Alpher&Litt have been performing together since 1999 and writing songs together since 2004.

The CD will be available on CD Baby, Amazon.com, iTunes and other traditional and digital retail outlets. A full track list and credits appear below.

He has worked with Dawn Upshaw, Marilyn Horne, Christopheren Nomura, Judy Collins and Garrison Keillor, who recorded the narration of his composition Land of the Farther Suns, a spoken word cycle for narrator, four flutes and piano.
