Matched whisky supper with an unmatched view; Fable Melbourne is pairing with Australia's most awarded whisky distillery Starward for a three-course whisky matched supper event.
The Fable x Starward Supper offers lovers of the storied spirit a Starward whisky cocktail on arrival followed by a three course seasonal dinner by Fable's Michelin-starred chef Alex Xinis, with each course paired to a select whisky from the award winning range. The evening will be hosted by Starward's Brand Ambassador Matty Follent, along with Fable Chef Alex Xinis.
In addition to two of Starward's multi-award winning single malts, the night will also allow whisky lovers to taste their new peated release that is landing in August, which features tasting notes of peat, tropical fruit and peach.
The local Melbourne distillery was recently crowned 'Most Awarded Distillery of the Year' by the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, where it also won twelve Double Gold and two Gold medals.
At Fable, venue manager and notable mixologist Alessandro Nardini (Beneath Driver Lane) and Michelin-starred chef Alex Xinis (Melbourne Press Club) have designed menus driven by seasonality with a strong emphasis on vegan and gluten-free offerings.
Owner and designer Gehan Rajapakse (Sofitel, Hyde, Rah Bar, Club 23) has secured Fable's rightful place as a Melbourne institution. The venue boasts one of the city's best views on the 14th floor, with a fully retractable roof and world class heating from Aperitivo all the way to late night.
Fable Melbourne is open from 5pm-late Wednesday-Thursday, with Aperitivo offered from 3-5pm Friday-Sunday. Late night walk-ins are encouraged after 10pm, while the venue is licensed until 3am. Bookings are open via fablemelbourne.com.au.
