'On The Line' is a lament disguised as a pop song. The story of a couple confronting their personal truths. "Too broken too fix. But U don't wanna give up on this….Could you love me….One more time?". As sad as the theme may be 'On The Line' is one of San Cisco's best pop moments ever. With Jordi and Scarlett sharing lead vocals and a catchy as hell chorus, 'On The Line' will turn that frown upside down.
"Where do you draw the line? When do you pull the plug? How do you know if the juice is worth the squeeze? Do you pick up the pieces and move onto something new? Or stick it out for another round of romance? The game of love is never an easy one to play." - Jordi shares
The video for 'On The Line' was shot during a unique moment in time when social distancing regulations, brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, were eased in Western Australia. It's a time that so many people in the world are either experiencing right now or longing for the moment it's going to happen. Most probably the first video made after restrictions have eased, it shows Jordi, Scarlett and Joshua getting ready to finally see each other again. The band are back together…..elbow taps, foot bumps and all!
Jordi explains, "We were super excited to be able to come out of isolation and join together as a band for the first time in months to shoot this video. It was such a fun day of filming with a great crew.
We appreciate that at the moment not everyone is as lucky as us, here in Western Australia, to be able to come together in this way. We really hope that those who can't, will be able to reconnect with loved ones safely soon"
This is the first official taste off their upcoming fourth studio album, which the band are busily putting the finishing touches on. It's the first new music following their recent "Flaws" EP release - featuring 'Skin' which triple j described as "one of the most seamless cuts we've heard from San Cisco" as well as the "groove-heavy, hook-laden indie-rock number" 'Reasons' as described by Rolling Stone. The 'Flaws' EP has seen San Cisco exceed the 1 million monthly listener mark on Spotify.
San Cisco have rescheduled some of their Australian Tour Dates and will be hitting the road in October to play in Hobart (TAS), Kingscliff (NSW) and Birtinya (QLD).
