Orange Paw

Orange Paw is the new solo project from songwriter Mara Williams (of bubblegum/garage bands The Pink Tiles and Pleather Purrs).

"All of us here at Psychic Hysteria HQ dropped our jaws when we heard Orange Paw's self-titled, debut album. Mara had just quietly uploaded it to Bandcamp, but once we wrapped our ears around it we felt that these songs needed to be shared wider.

"We approached Mara with the idea of putting the album on cassette with Psychic Hysteria, and are thrilled to announce that they are on their way!" - Psychic Hysteria

The songs are available to the public now via Bandcamp, with streaming and wider digital services on their way (May 28). The cassette can be pre-ordered and will ship early July with a special launch show to be announced soon.

In the meantime, you can catch Orange Paw opening for Cable Ties at their upcoming album launch shows at The Corner, alongside Psychic Hysteria faves Zig Zag.

This debut release is a compilation of campfire tunes, lullabies and lo-fi pop demos, recorded in February 2021 in the middle suburbs of Melbourne. Mixed and mastered by Paul Maybury (King Gizzard, Cable Ties, Hacker) at A Secret Location Sound Recorders, with cover art by Adele Daniele of BILY creative studio.
