Review Motorola moto buds loop Swarovski Edition

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Moto Buds Loop Swarovski Edition because they look more like jewellery than earbuds, but after wearing them for a couple of weeks they've really grown on me.

The first thing everyone notices is the design. The Pantone French Oak colour is a soft champagne-gold that feels classy rather than flashy, and the Swarovski crystals add just enough sparkle without looking over the top. I've actually had a few people ask if they were earrings before realising they're earbuds.

Comfort has been the biggest surprise. Since they clip around your ear instead of sitting inside your ear canal, I can wear them for hours without getting that sore, blocked-ear feeling I usually get with traditional earbuds. They're perfect for working from home, walking the dog or grabbing a coffee because you can still hear what's happening around you, which makes them feel much safer outdoors.

Sound quality is impressive for an open-ear design. They're tuned with Sound by Bose, so vocals come through really clearly and there's plenty of detail in podcasts and acoustic music. Bass isn't as powerful as you'll get from noise-cancelling in-ear buds, but that's the trade-off with an open design. If you're expecting deep, thumping bass on a noisy train, these probably aren't the right choice, but for everyday listening they're enjoyable and surprisingly balanced. CrystalTalk AI also does a good job keeping calls clear, and no one complained about hearing me even when I was walking outside.

Battery life has easily lasted through my workday, and the quick-charge feature has already saved me once when I forgot to charge them overnight. Pairing was simple, and they switch between my phone and laptop without much fuss.

They're not designed to replace a pair of noise-cancelling earbuds for flights or the gym, but as stylish everyday earbuds they're genuinely enjoyable to wear. They manage to combine fashion with practical comfort, and for anyone who likes their tech to double as an accessory, the Moto Buds Loop Swarovski Edition stands out from almost everything else on the market.
