Rising country artist Madison Olivia is setting her next chapter ablaze with "Whiskey Burns", a fiery, blues-tinged anthem out everywhere now. Marking a bold sonic evolution, the track blends Madison's country roots with a gritty rock edge, delivering the kind of raw energy that defines an artist stepping fully into her sound.

Written alongside Kerrigan Barry and Ryan Nelson, the track was born out of a love for whiskey"and a cheating ex who used it as an excuse. "It's about a guy who cheated, blamed the bottle, and thought I'd let it slide. But this time, it's goodbye for real," Madison adds.

With a nod to Carrie Underwood's iconic Before He Cheats, the single channels that same fierce, unapologetic storytelling, but with a sultry, smoldering twist that's unmistakably Madison.

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Madison is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned a degree in political science before pivoting from a legal path to chase her lifelong passion for music. Now five years into her Nashville journey, 2024 has proven to be a breakout year. She's opened for major acts including Julia Cole, NELLY, Parmalee, Kassi Ashton, and Dylan Scott, and earned media acclaim with earlier singles "USER" and "Know Your Name."
