Iconic Australian singer, songwriter and pianist Katie Noonan will return to the stage - in this case, Zac Hurren's Rainbow Room - via a monthly concert live stream event, starting on Friday September 25, from 8pm.
Fresh from a star turn as the all singing and dancing Sloth on The Masked Singer, Katie has curated a program of different concerts each month including special guests, surprises and more.
Katie will draw on some of her existing show formats - Songs That Made Me, Songs of the Latin Skies, The Sweetest Taboo and her own tunes from across her 20 studio albums – and will feature family members, saxophonist/composer husband Zac Hurren, drummer son Dexter and singer son Jonah, and a special one off concert revisiting her first band 'george' with her brother Tyrone in the 20th anniversary of their seminal album 'Polyserena'. Their amazing new studio was designed and built by Zac and he will also double as the sound engineer!
Katie said, "I know we're all missing the live concert experience so much – I know as an artist and performer, I'm feeling it acutely, it's always been such an integral part of my life and I miss you! So, we have decided to take matters into our own hands! We promise a lovingly curated concert series with lotsa amazing guests making special sounds for you and your loved ones - front row from the comfort of your home - jimmy jams, humans you love, fur babies and vino highly recommend! (hmmmm that is quite honestly perhaps my favourite combo for a concert ever!)
On the last Friday of each month, I'll present a super special live stream concert from Zac's Rainbow Room studio, I can't wait to share the experience of the inaugural event with you on September 25!"
In addition to these magical 90 minute live events, Katie will also make additional exclusive content available to subscribers, with free song downloads, demos, vocal workshops and more.
