Carla Wehbe Releases Raw and Vulnerable Track 'Broke Your Heart'

Speaking on the deeply personal inspiration behind the track, Carla shares, "There are wounds we give not out of cruelty, but out of love. 'Broke Your Heart' is written from the perspective of the person forced to inflict pain. Whether it's a goodbye, a confession, or just following your own path, it explores the question of 'what happens when breaking someone's heart is the very thing that might save it?'
'Broke Your Heart' comes off the back of her stunning cover for ABBA's 'The Winner Takes It All' for triple j's Like A Version and the release of her latest EP Dark in the Light, which featured the singles 'Life's An Awful Mess,' 'OCD,' and 'Gentle With Me,' and showcased a bolder, more anthemic sound for Carla. Reflecting on Dark in the Light, Carla sees it as a collection of songs that naturally came together, exploring the balance between light and darkness in life.
Following the release of her sophomore EP JUPITER AND MARS and soliciting the attention of global superstars Benson Boone and Teddy Swims and supporting international acts The Chicks and Alec Benjamin, Carla had a massive 2024 after releasing her infectious single 'Sideshow', hitting the TikTok Awards stage with a performance of 'Austin' by US singer Dasha, and releasing her first original Christmas track 'christmas doesn't feel the same without you' - all while delivering dynamic performances while supporting international superstar G-FLIP, pop sensation Peach PRC, British singer and songwriter JP Cooper, and UK pop-rock artist Beth McCarthy, captivating audiences with her energy and charisma.
