A Fresh Look Captain Baxter

Imagine: it's a warm summer's evening, with a drink in hand and friends around, you watch the sunset from a roof top in the heart of buzzing St Kilda Beach. This and more is yours at the new and shiny Captain Baxter!

This top-level venue is sure to be a hit during the summer season with their moreish food, cool cocktails and uplifting atmosphere. Captain Baxter is a picture perfect setting for any event, big or small. With a light and bright new look that oozes effortless luxury and brags exquisite seaside views; there is a lot to get excited about when it comes to the new era at Captain Baxter.

The new menu has even more delicious, melt-in-your-mouth fresh seafood and an array of new flavors to try. The renovations have opened the space with pretty window like partitions and a light blue and cream colour palette throughout. Clam shaped lanterns drape from the ceiling over beautiful Parisian bistro style seated areas and standing tables. There are two bars; both softly lit and artistically decorated with an assortment of spirits and wines that are neatly arranged in shelves running up the wall, behind the bar. With two bars, you surely won't find yourself waiting long for service (unlike other popular watering holes). When walking through the sliding doors and out to the spacious beer garden, you'll be capitated by the view of soft rolling waves and festive fairy lights overhead - the ideal selfie backdrop.

The music is hip and happy with the perfect mix of chill house and groove inducing base lines. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by attentive and hospitable staff, who'll be the cherry on top of your visit. The occasion will feel special and the moment will feel right, seaside on the Captain Baxter deck.

Aye aye Captain, we're on board with you this summer!
