Wildstreet began in 2006 and released their self-titled debut album on Retrospect Records in 2009. The band spent the next 4 years touring nonstop and performing at US festivals including: Rocklahoma (5 consecutive years), SXSW & M3 Rock Festival. Wildstreet rocked alongside Black Veil Brides, Vains of Jenna, The Bouncing Souls, The Last Vegas, Twisted Sister, Michael Monroe, Crashdiet, Diemonds, Kix, LA Guns and more. The band won the Best Buy/Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands for Rockstar Energy's Uproar Festival, and opened for Avenged Sevenfold, Sevendust and Three Days Grace in Camden, NJ.

 

In 2011, the band released Wildstreet II..Faster..Louder! to widespread critical acclaim. They made an appearance on "The Jimmy Fallon Show" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT2Wpp7NkK8) and their songs were licensed to TV shows on E!, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, TBS and in a THQ video game. Later that year, the band released the official music video for "Poison Kiss," which included a cameo by Don Jameson of "The Metal Show." Wildstreet now had the attention of rock fans worldwide. In 2012, the band released the single "Easy Does It," and it's official music video. The video went viral on YouTube. Wildstreet has well-over 6 million views and nearly 10k subscribers on that platform.

 

​After taking a 2 1/2 year break off and dodging rumors of a band breakup, Wildstreet exploded back onto the NYC scene in 2016, headlining Gramercy Theatre with new lineup. In early 2017, the band rocked NYC with Faster Pussycat, The Biters and headed to Rocklahoma for the 6th time.​ In 2017 Wildstreet released "Raise Hell" the first single of their highly anticipated full length album, 'III.' Over the next four years, the band released 6 singles and 4 music videos. The band signed with Golden Robot Records in 2020, 

 

Wildstreet III was released on June 25, 2021 with the music video for their epic single "Mother". Since this massive release, the album has over 2.5 million streams on Spotify. Spending most of the year on tour in the USA, the band also were among the first to bring live music back to post-pandemic Europe, and played for rock fans in Switzerland and France for the first time. They concluded year releasing their cover of The 69eyes "Mrs.Sleazy." 

 

In 2022, Wildstreet released 4 new singles "One Tattoo," "Born To Be (RLK)" & 'Won't Be Apart' and 'Say Goodbye" ft Todd Long (Ghosts Of Sunset).  They rocked for the 2nd time at Rockfest in Cadott, Wisconsin and at Rocklahoma for the 7th time. They toured throughout the USA all year and did their first tour in Mexico! 

 

As one of the first hard rock bands in the world to tour post-pandemic, Wildstreet have toured 14 countries while working on their latest EP. The EP features a number of guests including Dave Abruzzese (Pearl Jam), Erik Eldenius (Billy Idol), Steeve Estatof (The Voice France) and more. The release date of the upcoming EP is tentatively set for spring 2024. In addition to their rigid tour schedule, they have already filmed the music videos for their first two singles and now, are currently working on a new full-length album to follow the success of 'III.'

How would you describe your music?

Ambiguous, unconventional New York City visual rock 'n' roll. We are nothing like anyone expects or has seen before.

 

Can you tell us about (your new song/upcoming gig/video), what was the inspiration?

Driven to the brink of madness from heartbroken rage, 'Sick lo Death' is a cranked up, fist  pumping arena rock anthem ready to rally a new generation of rock fans.

'Sick To Death' was written & produced by 

Wrath Stars from the Wisconsin based modern rock band 'Once Around' and 

features Dave Abruzzese (Pearl Jam) on drums. 

 

What are you musical influences?

It's a range of Dir en gray to Michael Jackson

 

Do you prefer performing live or recording?

Depends who is involved

 

What should we expect from your upcoming shows?

Lots of blood

 

How did the band come together?

I asked them

 

What motivates you most when writing music?

Trying to write as many words that rhyme with fuck

Once Around, Zenora & all of Beyond Agency's artists.. and Shotgun Mistress. 

 

If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?

Glen Hughes & Michael Jackson

 

What's next, for you?

A Grammy, an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award
