 Starring Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon and Topher Grace, The Calling is a chilling thriller about a small-town detective taske to investigate a religious crazed serial killer responsible for a string of very strange deaths. Directed by Jason Stone and based on the terrifying novel by Inger Ash Wolfe. 
 Detective Inspector Hazel Micallef leads a quiet life in the sleepy town of Poert Dundas with her mother Emily, her painkillerds and occasional drink. When Hazel sets out on a routine call to check on an ill neighbour, she stumbles upon a grumesome murder that shatters her peaceful existence.
 With the help of a felllow detective Ray Greene and transfer cop Ben Wingate, Hazel quickly unearths a series of similar girsly killings in rural towns across the country. Convinced that she is dealing with a serial killer and lacking staffing, she enlists the help of the local priest, Father Price who notices a link to ancient religious ritual.   
As the team delves deeper into the investigation, more bodies begin to emerge and the duo soon find themselves face-to-face with religious amdman with a deadly higher calling.
