The Autumn Killers The Power Of Love

The brand new single by The Autumn Killers is a cover of one of the most iconic tunes of the '80s, The Power Of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.Originally release in November 1984 but fully Autumnised in November 2020 by the Autumn Killers for their astounding new EP Acoustic & Autumnised.

Rob Reece stated "When we decided to do the Acoustic EP we thought it would be a good idea to put another track on there, but because our new material is very different to the material on the Dance Floor Mayhem EP it made sense to pick a cover. The choice was easy, The Power of Love is such an iconic song which seems to be ageless. Vocally we wanted to keep the integrity of the original melody and not diverse from that, although there are some subtle changes within. The version we have recorded for this record fits in perfect with the orchestral / acoustic vibe of the EP. This will also be the case on our 2nd album being released next year entitled "Lightside" which is part of 2 Album release for 2021."
