The   screening program will feature an exciting array of innovative videos   from around the globe including works for Grizzly Bear, Vitalic, Die   Antwoord, Flying Lotus and so much more.

Desert Island Flicks: Castaway with Brendan Maclean

With   a mix of folk lyricism, indie rock and pop sensibilities, Brendan   Maclean broke onto the Australian music scene in 2007 and has since   established an eclectic career in broadcasting, acting, singing and song   writing. Join the star of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby as he  reveals  his five most favourite films.

Over   one weekend, Signal and ACMI are joining forces with Isobel Knowles  and  local musicians to produce an original music video that will  premiere  at Melbourne Music Week. You will be involved in all stages of  the  process from concept development, storyboarding and animation, to   shooting and editing.
RGBD Filmmaking: Making Radiohead's House of Cards

This   groundbreaking workshop combines HD video with the depth-sensing   capabilities of the Kinect game controller. Using custom-designed open   source software and a method developed in collaborative workshops across   the world, learn how the unique look in Radiohead's music video for   House of Cards was created.
Release Your Inner Gondry
Saturday 9th of November, 10am-5pm
Join   us for this boldly collaborative workshop where together we will build  a  music video by recreating the unique techniques of master video   director Michel Gondry. There will be animation, cardboard construction   and plenty of hands-on animation.
