From controversial Malaysian director, Dain Said, comes the powerful story of lost love between three estranged brothers and their ailing father. After gaining an excellent reception in Malaysia and at the Toronto International Film Festival, Return to Murder has made it's small screen debut in Australia on DVD.
When debt-ridden Adil flees from a fight-to-the-death Thai kickboxing match, trained assassin Ilham is hired by furious underworld bosses to kill him. In a strange twist of fate the two discover they are brothers and a chase ensues that leads them back to their poor rural village, Bunohan - translating literally to mean 'murder'.
Older brother and ambitious businessman, Bakar, has also come home under the guise of caring for their sickly father. However his shady schemes are soon exposed as he attempts to convince their father to sell his land to property developers for a large sum.
Far removed from typical kickboxing films, Return to Murder will captivate audiences with its haunting depiction of murder, passion and unfulfilled struggle for reconciliation and forgiveness.
