A recipe from Hazel & Cacao and Califia Farms
3/4 cups red rice (rinsed)
1/4 cup red quinoa (rinsed)
2 TBSP maple syrup
1 tsp beetroot powder (for colour)
4 cups Califia Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until rice is completely cooked through.
2. Serve with nut butter, fruits of choice and dairy free dark chocolate on top.
3. You can add more almond milk for a creamier texture and extra beetroot powder for a red look.
