From first spray, this fragrance opens with a bright rush of mandarin and juicy pear, quickly giving way to an opulent floral heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine and rose. The initial spray feel audacious,bright, golden-inspired, almost metallic in tone, but then mellow into a creamy, softly sweet base of vanilla, musk and soft woods. On the skin it feels luxurious, sensual, elegant and warm but not overwhelming. The luxe bottle and packaging also reflect the fragrance's identity, with it's "jewel-style" container in smoked-gold tones, adorned with the brand's signature XL link, reinforcing the concept of bold femininity and golden glamour.
