GRAMMY® Award-winning rock visionaries MUSErelease their towering new track "Hexagons" out now on Warner Records. Listen HERE. Taken from the band's forthcoming tenth studio album "The Wow! Signal" - coming June26 - "Hexagons" arrives following a cryptic global billboard campaign that slowly revealed fragments of the song across the weekend. The hunt - a staggered, clue-led broadcast - unfolded across Sydney, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Paris and London, leading fans to hidden billboard locations where unique codes unlocked previously unheard sections of "Hexagons." Over the course of the weekend, fans collectively assembled the track online before MUSE officially unveiled the full version today.
"Hexagons" sees MUSE pushing deeper into the futuristic electronic universe hinted at throughout "The Wow! Signal". Opening with spiralling loops of dazzling electronica, the track steadily builds into an overwhelming rush of haunting vocals, distorted synth textures and colossal electronic drum fills. "Hexagons" captures MUSE at their most experimental while retaining the widescreen intensity that has defined the band for more than two decades. The track follows previous album transmissions "Unravelling," "Be With You," and "Cryogen," each expanding the mysterious world surrounding "The Wow! Signal''. Inspired by the infamous unexplained radio burst detected in 1977, the album continues to explore themes of cosmic communication, technological anxiety, existential wonder, and humanity's search for meaning in an increasingly disconnected world. Pre-order HERE. MUSE recently returned to the live stage with a special performance at London's O2 Academy Brixton before they launch into an extensive North American tour, beginning July 2 at Milwaukee's Summerfest and culminating at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on August 31.
