Laura Frank Announces 'You Played Where?!' Tour, Releases Video For 'How Do We'
Ahead of the release of much-anticipated debut album LIFE IN THE FRONT SEAT, Queensland's LAURA FRANK has announced her return to venues on a brand new run of live shows: the YOU PLAYED WHERE?! tour.
Through September and October, the talented songwriter and musician will be headlining venues in Queensland and New South Wales as part of a new live touring experience that keeps local talent and community at the fore. With years of touring experience already to her name, Laura's approach to this tour is one that has been driven by a desire to do things a little differently.
Each show will be an excellent night of country music featuring local artists supporting Laura, open to audiences of all ages. To open each date, there will also be a line dancing workshop to get people's bodies moving, setting the vibe perfectly for the night of music ahead. As described, the YOU PLAYED WHERE?! tour has been put together for fans who don't usually get live music regularly in their towns.
"You Played Where!? came about whilst Nick and I were chatting in the car on a back road in regional Australia. We've been lucky enough to visit so many unique and amazing places in this country and so many of the spaces that call them home are under-utilised.
I thought … hang on … how amazing would it be if we could bring these communities together in these spaces. Spaces that grey nomads might frequent BUT the local community doesn't. Then we just started thinking about the most unique places in regional areas we could. And now here we are playing Bull Arenas, Artesian Spas, Museums and natural Amphitheatres … and we can't wait!" Along with the tour announcement, Laura has also released the official music video for her standout single 'HOW DO WE'. A song about "the questions every couple faces when love means figuring it out as you go", 'HOW DO WE' is a touchstone of the LIFE IN THE FRONT SEAT record.
