Jack Garratt's latest single -Weathered' has hit lofty heights with a #3 position on HypeMachine, over 150k plays on Soundcloud and support from media the world over.
Today he releases the powerful coming of age video to accompany the single. Starring three real-life brothers, the clip was shot in canyons in the U.S. state of Georgia where a natural phenomenal of luminescent fungus called Foxfire occurs each year.
Fresh off the back of sets at Glastonbury, previous airplay support from triple j and community radio across Australia, a huge Northern Hemisphere summer festival season ahead of him, as well as upcoming supports for MS MR and Mumford & Sons in the US, Jack Garratt has offered up one of the more emotive tracks of 2015 with -Weathered'. Tellingly, it premiered on Zane Lowe's first ever Beats 1 broadcast.
Garratt's previous singles -The Love You're Given' and -Chemical' featured heavily across Australia's community radio and Triple J, and now 'Weathered" offers further proof of why the land down under has received the young Englishman with open arms.
-Weathered' was written, produced and recorded by Jack Garratt and is slated to sit front and centre on his debut full-length set for release next year. Featuring all the best pop sensibilities, heart-stopping vocals and a twisting, building beat, the song is marked by a synthesis between each outstanding element.
