HEAVEN Real Hot Chocolate
In 1657 the first-ever hot chocolate café opened its doors in London. Now, 350 years later, Nestlé is marking the occasion with the launch of HEAVEN Real Hot Chocolate - just what Australian chocoholics have been waiting for!
Created from real chocolate drops that melt effortlessly into a smooth, hot chocolate, HEAVEN Real Hot Chocolate gives you a luscious taste sensation that will warm your heart on any winter's night.
Considered as an elite beverage in the 17th Century, hot chocolate was served in Chocolate Houses and was seen as an outing to be savoured. In modern times, HEAVEN Real Hot Chocolate is like drinking a block of chocolate and you don't even have to step outside your front door.
So whether it's a steamy encounter with the hot gardener from Desperate Housewives, a night in with McDreamy or an unconventional evening with Mr D'Arcy, the HEAVEN range has a variety of flavours to satisfy every chocolate craving. Experience the smooth silkiness of milk chocolate; the creamy indulgence of white chocolate or the bittersweet seduction of dark chocolate.
For your captivating encounter with HEAVEN Real Hot Chocolate, just follow these 3 simple steps*:
1. Pour ¼ cup (60ml) of milk into a mug and add 2 tablespoons of chocolate drops (or more for a richer taste).
2. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds. Remove and stir well.
3. Add an additional ½ cup (125ml) of milk and return to the microwave on HIGH for 50 seconds, stir for a deliciously indulgent hot chocolate.
*(Based on a 1200w microwave. Heating time required may vary depending on wattage.)
HEAVEN Real Hot Chocolate is available in supermarkets nationally from May 2007 (*RRP $5.99).
Review: With the cold days of winter upon us there is something special about warming up with real hot chocolate. Now it can be enjoyed at home as a winter warmer, special treat or shared with friends. It's so easy to prepare, and such a delicious taste, I dare you to resist the temptation to snack down on a couple of chocolate drops while your hot chocolate warms.
