Great Southern Nights

Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC) will play host to an eclectic and electric line-up of local music stars in a FREE gig for Great Southern Nights on 27 November 2020.

Great Southern Nights is a new music event to kick-start the recovery of the live music industry – featuring 1,000 COVID-safe gigs across Sydney and Regional NSW throughout November. Great Southern Nights is a NSW Government initiative delivered by Destination NSW in partnership with ARIA.

Australia's slickest hip-hop act, Cult Shφtta and local R&B pop songstress Jessica Jade will headline the all-local line-up at CPAC, which also features supporting acts Zeadala and Clarissa Mei.

CPAC Director Craig Donarski said, "The last few months have had a big impact on the live music and artists across the board. Great Southern Nights has given us an opportunity to support the industry and shine a spotlight on South West Sydney's vibrant music scene."

"From the modern Trap stylings of Cult Shφtta to the soulful sounds of Jessica Jade and the powerful lyrical storytelling of both Zeadala and Clarissa Mei, this free gig offer's Sydney-siders a chance to see some truly unique artists doing what they do best – entertaining crowds of music lovers in a covid safe way."

Great Southern Nights at CPAC will run in line with current NSW Government health advice regarding physical distancing and venue capacity of public gatherings. Tickets are free with the option to donate to CPAC's program to support the booking of future artists.
