Entity Health's Revitalix Helps Australians Cope with Their Stress

To alleviate daily stress, Entity Health has launched RevitaliX. Developed and produced in Australia, RevitaliX helps reduce the effects of stress and anxiety by using a unique blend of red and black maca, a herbaceous plant that grows at high altitudes (above 4000m) in the mountains of the Peruvian Central Andes. RevitaliX helps improve mood and promote relaxation.

New nationwide research commissioned by EntityHealth of 1000 Australians shows:

• Almost a fifth of respondents (18.2 per cent) are highly anxious, claiming they experience stress at least five times a week.
• The study indicates family issues (45.6 per cent), personal finances (40.6 per cent), work (38.3 per cent) and health concerns (34.9 per cent) were the top sources of stress.
• Almost a quarter of respondents (24 per cent) indicated that to help de-stress they listen to a great song, but people were more likely to speak to someone they trust (35.6 per cent) or sweat it out with some exercise (34.6 per cent).

Question: Can you tell us about what stresses Australians most?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: A recent consumer survey commissioned by Entity Health shows us that Australians experience stress regularly. In fact, almost 1 in 5 claim that they experience stress at least five times a week. Respondents indicated that their top stressors are family, personal finances, work and health.

Question: Did these results surprise you?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: We live in such a busy world, and the pace and pressures of modern life can be demanding and exhausting, so the results are not too surprising. It's normal for people to experience occasional stress, particularly when it comes to the important things in life like family, money, work and health. In fact, stress and anxiety are highly common, but chronic stress can be harmful.

Question: Can you tell us about RevitaliX?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: RevitaliX is an innovative new product by Entity Health, an Australian next generation nutraceutical company. Developed and produced in Australia, RevitaliX helps reduce the effects of stress and anxiety. RevitaliX provides perceptible improvements in mood shortly after taking it.

Question: Why did you decide to create RevitaliX?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: We created RevitaliX because consumers are increasingly looking for natural solutions to help improve their mood. All of our products are developed based on clinical evidence and target specific health conditions resulting in tangible improvements that you can genuinely feel.

Question: What are the ingredients in RevitaliX?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: The active ingredients in RevitaliX are the unique blend of red and black maca, a herbaceous plant that grows at high altitudes in the mountains of the Peruvian Central Andes.

Question: How does RevitaliX help to reduce the effects of stress?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: When a person is stressed, they release high amounts of a hormone called cortisol into the body, while also supressing the production of feel good hormones, dopamine and serotonin in their reaction to stress. RevitaliX helps reduce the levels of cortisol in the body, while also regulating dopamine and serotonin production to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, allowing the user to feel a sense of calm quickly.

As well as reducing cortisol in the body, the hero ingredient in RevitaliX, maca, comprises GABA, an inhibitory neurotransmitter that employs a calming effect on the nervous system. This is vital for the control of stress, which subsequently alleviates the symptoms of anxiety and promotes relaxation.

Question: What else can we do to alleviate daily stress?

Dr Janakan Krishnarajah: We all have different ways of managing stress. Our consumer research shows that Australians like to listen to a great song, speak to someone they trust or sweat it out with some exercise.
