This classic banana bread has been packed with CHOC BITS to make a great afternoon snack. This choc banana bread is moist, delicious, and incredibly easy to make!
300 g self-raising flour
75 g brown sugar
200 g NESTLÉ BAKERS' CHOICE Milk CHOC BITS
190 mL milk
1.5 cups mashed banana
50 g butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 180ºC/160ºC fan forced. Grease and line a 20cm x 10 cm loaf pan with baking paper.
- Combine flour, sugar and NESTLÉ BAKERS' CHOICE Milk CHOC BITS in a large bowl; make a well in the centre of flour mixture.
- In a large jug, combine milk, butter, eggs and mashed banana. Add milk mixture to well; stir into flour mixture until just combined (do not overmix). Pour into prepared pan. Bake 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Stand in pan for 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Wrapped bread keeps well for 2-3 days. Bread can be frozen if desired.
