Cherryhill's Blossom Festival

Cherryhill's Blossom Festival

School Holiday Fun for the Whole Family

You don't need to travel all the way to Japan to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms in full flower. Cherryhill's annual Blossom Festival will this year run for a full week during the school holidays - from Wednesday 26th September to Tuesday 2nd October – taking in the Grand Final Weekend. It's a great way to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and the magical sight of a cherry orchard in full bloom.

Cherry blossoms are a sure sign that winter has finished and spring has arrived. Bring your family and friends, wander amongst the rows of cherry blossoms and take in the gorgeous views of the magnificent Yarra Valley. You can pack a picnic or enjoy Cherryhill's farm gate café and food trucks. You can also try their delicious cherry beverages, including cherry beers, cherry cider and their new cherry shiraz wine. And of course, there will be plenty of their famous cherry ice cream to enjoy.

This year there will be even more fun, with activities including Busy Bees workshops for kids. These fun, interactive sessions will teach children what makes up a hive, the bee life-cycle and how bees make honey. Children will also learn why bees are so important to our food system, their role in sustainability and how to behave around bees in their play spaces.

For the adults, bees wax wrap workshops will demonstrate how to make these versatile wraps with a few simple ingredients, save money and play your part in reducing plastic waste.

There will also be free face painting for the kids, live local music, giant lawn games and selfie photo fun.

Cherryhill is only one hour from Melbourne and it's the perfect place to enjoy Spring at its best and most beautiful.

Tickets for the Blossom Festival are now available at www.cherryhill.com.au/Blossom-Festival~31214 and every adult and child entry includes a free bottle of Cherryhill's delicious Cherish Spritzer.
