"We're big smoothie fans in our house and always looking for ways to make them more fun - enter the BANOFFEE PIE SMOOTHIE! This recipe is an absolute ripper ... It's wholesome, fuelled with plenty of beautiful ingredients, and utterly delicious. I've used NEW Dairy Farmers A2 Goodness + Prebiotic Milk for a more traditional smoothie base but with the added benefits of the prebiotic in the milk (2.5g galacto-oligosaccharides prebiotic per serve) to fuel the good bacteria in the gut. 2 cups (500ml) Dairy Farmers A2 Goodness + Prebiotic Milk
3 frozen bananas
2 fresh medjool dates, seeds removed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts
Cacao powder for dusting
2 tablespoons almond butter
2 teaspoons maple syrup
splash Dairy Farmers A2 Goodness + Prebiotic Milk
Place Dairy Farmers A2 + Prebiotic Milk , bananas, dates, vanilla, hemp and a chia in a blender and blitz until creamy.
In a small bowl whisk together ingredients for caramel sauce with a fork. Smear dollops of caramel sauce around two glasses, fill half way with smoothie, sprinkle some walnuts and fill the rest of the glass.
Dust with cacao and enjoy.
