Sell Your Soul is the latest single from Bathurst troubadour Andy Nelson.
Recorded in a rustic farmhouse in NSW's Kangaroo Valley with Syd Green, the song is taken from Andy's 2019 released debut album Man on the Mountain and features Jon Kane (The Flying Emus) who dropped in to add his beautiful banjo and mandolin throughout the track.
The single is accompanied by a stunning video, filmed & produced by Jefferton James (Passenger / Boy & Bear / Josh Pyke) over a 12 month period in various locations around Central Western NSW and the Blue Mountains.
Of the song, Andy says "The theme of the song flows between the idea that we can give up the things we love in order to gain material wealth, accompanied visually by the stunning natural beauty of the natural world which is right in front of us. Even then, once the material wealth is gained, for some it never seems to be enough."
A semi-finalist in the 2018 Bluesfest busking competition, the singer-songwriter has also performed at TCMF 2020, The Sky Ball, The National Folk Festival, The End Festival, Inland Sea of Sounds and supported the Small Halls Festival Tour amongst many more.
2021 will see the captivating story-teller get set to work on new material, following his impressive debut Man on the Mountain.
