A.D.K.O.B Chalkline

A.D.K.O.B (A Different Kind Of Busy) return with new single 'Chalkline'

Busy: full of activity; characterized by much action or motion

Sydney based multi-instrumentalist Mark Piccles' distinct approach to song writing and production is now transcending the bedroom aesthetic on his creative project A.D.K.O.B. After an incredibly well received underground debut EP in 2016, other-worldly indie/electronic/rock band A.D.K.O.B returns today with a driving new single, 'Chalkline', available to stream and download now.

"It's a song about what it means to learn from mistakes, or perhaps that sometimes you don't learn at all." – Mark Piccles, the creative force behind A.D.K.O.B.

Mixed by Luke Million (I Know Leopard, Carmouflage Rose, Luke Million) & produced by A.D.K.O.B., 'Chalkline' speaks to that confusion and desperation we feel when faced with an impossible situation but still wanting to see the best in it. It firmly recaptures the intangible magic of this triple j, KEXP, Indie Shuffle, FBi Radio, Pilerats and Laneway Festival favourite artist.

'Chalkline' is the first single from A.D.K.O.B's forthcoming second EP 'NOTHING IS A WASTE OF TIME' which is set for release later this year. This cohesive body of work will explores love, loss, and all the cycles in-between. Reaching deep into his personal life, Mark Piccles shares relatable stories from a fresh perspective, all while retaining the very special A.D.K.O.B groove.

'Chalkline' is released by Wonderlick Entertainment & Sony Music Entertainment Australia who are the same team behind International touring successes including Amy Shark, The Paper Kites and Japanese Wallpaper.
