2019 Wine Island

Time to get your tropical get-ups ready and book your escape as WINE ISLAND returns for its 5th birthday.

Taking place on Friday 1 November – Sunday 3 November on Clark Island, Sydney Harbour, holidaymakers will discover a luxurious land of premium wines from Australia and abroad, beer, food, cocktails, Wine Selectors masterclasses, music, treasure hunts and more.

Wine Island has become the go-to event of the spring calendar for not only wine lovers but also those wanting a mini getaway in their own backyard.

This is a truly unique event that transforms Sydney Harbour into a tropical oasis. Visitors will set sail on the Batch & Co Spritz Boats, choosing either a Noosa, Sorrento or Bondi Spritz for the short journey to paradise. Once ashore you may be forgiven for thinking you've landed in St Tropez as Rosé Imports will be pouring all the pink from the South of France.

Pair this with an oyster or fresh seafood and experience life-changing bliss. If you're after a drop of amber, the boys from Mornington Peninsula's Jetty Road Brewery are brewing up the good life this year, perfectly matched with a Chur Island burger, loaded fries or lamb souvlaki.

And what is an island without cocktails? Brix Distillers will be serving up fresh sugarcane and lime daiquiris at their rum bar, Manly Spirits will be taking care of the gin, or discover Matso's Island Oasis for more tropical fruity-ness. Don't forget to grab your cheese platter on the way up.

If you'd like to just kick back and be pampered, grab your bubbles and take a seat at the Napoleon Perdis Beauty Bar. Offering mini glam makeovers, micro massages and more.

Whatever adventure you choose on Wine Island, you will be rewarded.

New addition to 2019:
The Hampton's Experience - holidaymakers will enjoy a leisurely cruise across to Wine Island on board their own floating island, the Hamptons. Once moored you will have access to The Hamptons for the entire event. This includes a food & beverage package (thanks to Wine Selectors) and a beautiful relaxing space to call your own.

Wine Island is a small island which means only a limited amount of guests are allowed per session. This ensures fewer crowds, more time to chat to winemakers and extra legroom on the island dance floor! We look forward to welcoming you to Wine Island for a drop in the harbour!
