Four of the worlds biggest social media stars, Liza Koshy, Baby Ariel, Caspar Lee and Gabbie Hanna join star-studded lineup for VidCon Aust

VidCon Australia has today announced the final wave of huge content creators who will join an already jam-packed line up from 31 August to 2 September at Melbourne's Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Social video superstars Liza Koshy, Baby Ariel, Caspar Lee, Alex Wassabi, Jc Caylen,and Kian Lawley have been added to the VidCon Australia line-up alongside Aunty Donna, Rachel Ballinger, Alan Tsibulya, Rachel Aust, Mamrie Hart, How To Cook That, Jenn Im, Soothing Sista, The Odd1sOut, and Sarah's Day " an unprecedented group of 17 new stars joining fans and industry players to perform, inspire, meet and talk all things online video at VidCon Australia 2018.

The latest names join an already bursting-at-the-seams weekend featuring local stars like SketchShe, Tanya Hennessy, Christian Hull, and the boys from How Ridiculous.
 
With a staggering 44.23 million followers and subscribers, it's hard to deny that Liza Koshy is one of the top digital creators in the world. The YouTube-come-television star will return to VidCon Australia after a hugely successful appearance last year. Koshy has over 21 million YouTube subscribers across two channels and has recently launched her own YouTube Originals series Liza On Demand, cast members from which will also attend VidCon. Koshy also recently debuted as the co-host of the reboot of Double Dare on Nickelodeon (coming to Australia September 3rd), along with hosting MTV's TRL.

Also joining the final round of creators coming to Melbourne for VidCon, is singer and content creator Baby Ariel – with 41.57 million followers across Musical.ly, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Her music videos for original songs like Aww, Perf and Gucci On My Body, have over 70 million views.

 
Starting as a Viner, Gabbie Hanna has risen to fame on YouTube with close to 12 million views on her hit single Out Loud and over 12 million subscribers across her social video channels " where she goes by the name "The Gabbie Show," regularly uploading comedy skits, vlogs, and hilarious stories.
 
Boasting over 1 billion video views and counting, Caspar Lee joined YouTube in 2011 and has continued on to the dizzying heights of social media fame " he's appeared in TV shows and movies and interviewed stars like Zac Efron and Channing Tatum. Caspar has over 18 million followers and subscribers to his social media channels.
 
Vloggers Jc Caylen and Kian Lawley, also known as popular video duo Kian and Jc, have over 33 million combined subscribers across various platforms and regularly produce videos amassing millions of views. Caylen has over 14 million subscribers across various platforms with upwards of 400 million views on his videos, while Lawley is a Daytime Emmy nominated actor who also runs his own hugely popular YouTube channel.
 
With 3.5 million subscribers and followers, Rachel Ballinger, sister of social megastar Colleen Ballinger (Miranda Sings) has established her own name and community with her videos " ranging from clever hacks to dollar store hauls and small product reviews " proving phenomenally popular.

Alex Wassabi runs the hugely popular YouTube channel Wassabi but first found his fame and a bulk of his following on the short-form video app, Vine. Wassabi has gone on to attract over 12 million subscribers across two channels featuring everything from song parodies to touching family tributes.

Also joining the line-up is You Deserve A Drink creator, singer, comedian and New York Times best-selling author Mamrie Hart. Known for making delicious cocktails and puns, Hart joined YouTube in 2009 and has gone on to collaborate with other YouTube greats like Hannah Hart and Grace Helbig. 

Aunty Donna are a Melbourne-based comedy group that formed in 2011 and have gone on to cement themselves as bonafide comedy stars with their absurd video sketches racking up hundreds of thousands of views.
 
Sydney-based Alan Tsibulya began filming his comedic videos on YouTube three years ago, when he finished his HSC, as a creative outlet through his Double Degree. Alan has hosted videos for MTV Australia, boasts 2 x sold out shows at the 2017 Sydney Comedy Festival and has even been featured on US entertainment news show, Entertainment Tonight. 
 
Also hailing from Sydney is holistic health blogger and fitness YouTuber Sarah's Day who regularly shares her recipes, fitness tips, and natural beauty hacks to a legion of fans.

Joining other home-grown talent on the roster is Rachel Aust, a Melbourne-based fitness & lifestyle YouTuber & coach. She specialises not only in health & fitness, but also in minimalism. Rachel is involved in healthy recipe development and regularly creates videos with food ideas, workout plans, and advice for those on their minimalism journeys. 

Jenn Im is a life and style superstar whose digital influence spans all social media, including her wildly popular YouTube Channel, "Clothes Encounters." The debut collection of "Eggie", her fashion line of inclusive and affordable everyday staples, sold out in mere minutes " as did her capsule collections with Colourpop and Mejuri.

Also flying the style flag at VidCon 2018 is Soothing Sista: a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle star known for her edgy style and fun, unique videos. She's established a destination for clothing hauls, beauty tips, travel adventures, as well as advice on finding your own voice.

How To Cook That's Ann Reardon is a food scientist and celebrity chef whose unique sweet creations have attracted 3.5 million subscribers and over half-a-billion views on YouTube – who knows what sweet treat she'll produce next?
 
Rounding out the final announcement of creators coming to VidCon in 2018 is TheOdd1sOut, an animator on YouTube, known for his unique brand of storytelling videos. Beginning with webcomics in 2012, he transitioned over to YouTube in 2014 and has over 8 million subscribers on YouTube.

VidCon, the world's largest celebration of online video, first made its debut in Australia in 2017 and has just completed its successful 9th year in the US.

The social media conference will once again see Melbourne become the meeting place for thousands of content creators for a weekend of learning and networking across a three-track program – Community, Creator and Industry.
