Unplugged Melbourne Competition

Following the official launch of MTV Unplugged Melbourne, MTV Australia together with Vodka O have today announced the launch of a national singer / songwriter competition that will aim to uncover hot new artists and give them the launch platform of their dreams.
 
The competition, which opens today, will see the selected winners flown to Melbourne – the home of live music – to perform on the MTV Unplugged Melbourne stage before a crowd of new fans, celebrities and music industry heavyweights.
 
The winning artists will also have their story and full -Unplugged' moment captured in a content series which will air on MTV, MTV.com.au, and Vodka O's Facebook page – giving them an even bigger head start in their music journey.

To enter, artists need to submit a video of themselves singing an original track. The winners will perform one cover song from the enviable back catalogue of previous MTV Unplugged shows, and one original track on the night. 

Entry is open to any Australian citizen over the age of 25. Entries close 9 July 2018
