Tilly Oddy-Black - Wait they Did What

The ABC has launched Wait… They Did What?!, a brand-new history podcast for kids and tweens hosted by comedian and internet superstar Tilly Oddy-Black, available now on ABC listen.

The series dives headfirst into the bizarre, surprising and sometimes scandalous things adults used to think were totally normal.

Travelling back to the eras of parents and grandparents, Tilly revisits eyebrow-raising moments from recent history, like when kids were allowed to light fireworks, bikinis were banned at the beach, and people used fax machines instead of the internet. Tilly is joined by Wiradjuri and Pallawa man, Isaac Muller, for some episodes exploring Indigenous history and perspectives.

Releasing every Monday, the first episode of Wait… They Did What?! is available now on ABC listen and all major podcast platforms. A vodcast version will also be available on ABC iview and the ABC Big Kids Youtube channel.

ABOUT TILLY ODDY-BLACK
Internet superstar and chameleon Tilly Oddy-Black has amassed a global audience of over 1.7 million followers with an accompanying 1 billion views to boot. Best known for her online array of characters, from crowd favourites such as the 'feral niece' and 'tiniest girl in the world' to the lesser known yet highly specific 'elder millennial coworker who is still obsessed with Eminem.'
