Crave Sydney International Food Festival, presented by Citibank, puts some of the world's foremost food thinkers and writers under the spotlight as part of its brand new Talks & Thoughts program on October 6th and 7th, 2012.

Taking place as part of the festival's signature event, the World Chef Showcase, Talks & Thoughts is all about ideas and trends in the food and drinks world.

The interactive sessions will cover everything from what makes a great restaurant - with the likes of Sarah Doyle (Porteno) and Anton Forte (The Baxter Inn, Shady Pines) - to what makes a great food photograph and how to take it, with Katie Quinn-Davies (What Katie Ate) and two of The Herald's top photographers, Jennifer Soo and Nick Moir.
