The Farmer Wants A Wife Calling for Season 4 Farmers looking for love

THE FARMER WANTS A WIFE
CALLS FOR
FARMERS LOOKING FOR LOVE

Yes, believe it or not, the search has begun once again!

Australia fell in love with the first two series of The Farmer Wants A Wife, with the highly anticipated third series due to premiere on Channel Nine in early February. Following on from the overwhelming viewer response in 2008, the Nine Network and FremantleMedia Australia are now casting farmers for the welcome return of the eagerly anticipated fourth series.

Life remains tough for our famers - they face not only the drought, but terrible isolation and loneliness. It's almost impossible for farmers these days to meet their soul mate.

The Farmer Wants A Wife is a feel-good story of love and romance. This is not a competition. There's no prize money and the only winner in the end... is LOVE. We simply follow the story of Australian farmers meeting new women, exploring new relationships and trying to find their soul mate.

The ultimate goal is finding true love just as our series one favourites Chris and Kim did, who tied the knot last year in a romantic ceremony in Tamworth. Rob and Jo also felt the ping of cupid's arrow and we can hear the sound of wedding bells ringing in the not too distant future from Mt Gambier, proving that the farmer really can find a wife.

The Farmer Wants A Wife is offering Australia's most eligible farmers a solution to their 'love' problem and the chance to be a part of this hit feel-good show's fourth series. This might be our farmers one and only opportunity to really find true love.

The Farmer Wants A Wife will initially see a dozen farmers profiled on a website and through a series of events that will feature in the televised series - speed-dating, country stays and city escapes - they will be reduced to six couples.

We are searching nationally for real farmers aged between 25 and 45 who are looking to meet their one true love. Bachelors, must be working farmers, be it grazier, dairy, citrus, oyster, etc.

Interested farmers should drop an email with an introduction by February 6, 2009 to:
farmer.wife@fremantlemedia.com.au or call (02) 9434 0791 to register your interest.

The Farmer Wants A Wife is a FremantleMedia Australia production for the Nine Network.
