One-on-One: Robert McKee and Tony Martin Robert McKee is known as the Godfather of screenwriting, he was forever immortalised in Charlie Kaufman's film Adaptation and has provided screenwriting advice to our own Adam Elliot and Ray Lawrence through to writers on CSI, Law and Order, Desperate Housewives and across the Tasman to the Lord of the Rings team. He is in Australia for a series of screenwriting seminars to be held in Sydney and Melbourne throughout June and while here he has made time to speak with one of his biggest fans, comedian, screenwriter, radio broadcaster and film director Tony Martin.
