About Amna Bee:
Stand-up comedian and producer Amna Bee was raised by a conservative Muslim family in the wild west of Pakistan where women doing standup comedy was as unusual as women flying spacecrafts. Entirely unplanned, Amna braved her first comedy stage in Alice Springs, NT, and has since performed all over the country and internationally. Her debut solo show has had sold out nights at festivals in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Edinburgh.

Amna was also hand-picked to be part of the Sangam South Asian Arts Festival's Dada-Desi program where she was mentored by acclaimed artists including Vidya Rajan, Priya Shrinivasan and Raina Peterson. Her wild life journey has been featured on SBS, the Globe and Mail and South Asian Today.
