Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition
to make its Australian debut in Melbourne
Take a never-before-seen look into the life and legacy of Princess Diana as her Official Royal Photographer shares the stories behind Diana's most famous moments for the first time
Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will showcase the emotional journey of the world's most loved Princess through a side of the story that has never been experienced before. Presented by leading entertainment discovery platform, Fever, in partnership with global entertainment agency, SBX Group, the experience will launch at The Tea House on Friday 17 November, 2023.
Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition reveals Diana's version, as told through the lens of her Official Royal Photographer, Anwar Hussein. It looks at the personal relationship between a princess and a photographer and explores the unique connection of closeness and distance, uncovering all sides of Diana.
Named one of the "Top 12 Immersive Experiences Around the World You Need to Visit" by CNN, the exhibit has sold out in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Puerto Rico. Since launching in 2021, it has become a fan-favourite event, being featured in People Magazine, Access Hollywood as well as the LA Times and has accumulated a 4.9 out of 5-star guest rating.
For the first time in Australia, Anwar Hussein and his sons Samir and Zak, share their first-hand accounts of the stories behind the world-famous moments of Princess Diana and her family, through an in-depth audio guide.
Accredited by the Royal Family, the Hussein's make up the longest standing family of Official Royal Photographers, having collectively spent over four decades working side-by-side with the iconic Princess and her family. They received special access to document the lives of the Royals in public, as well as capturing more intimate, private moments.
Anwar is notable for changing perceptions of the Royal Family through his work with a focus on casual photographs that capture humanity, instead of historically more formal portrait photography. Samir and Zak followed their father's footsteps into royal photography by capturing the lives of Diana's sons Prince William and Prince Harry, and now are multi-award winning and renowned photographers themselves.
Guests of the Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will embark on a captivating exploration through various themed sections: The Photography Dark Room, Growing, Glam, Hats & Tiaras, Art Installations, Humanitarian and Unguarded. The Exhibit takes you on a documentary of her introduction to and reinvention of Royal life - with intimate, first-hand narration and authentic, original images that transport you into that time and place. The exhibit also features bespoke art installations developed exclusively for the exhibition by renowned multimedia artist, Pauline Loctin, as well as engaging photo opportunities for visitors to commemorate their experience.
Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition is a family-friendly experience, opening to the public on Friday 17 November, 2023. Sessions will run at various times throughout the week. Tickets are available here to purchase today.
