Olly Murs releases new single Ft. Snoop Dog as heard in Johnny English Strikes Again

Olly Murs today releases his new single 'Moves' featuring Snoop Dogg via RCA Records and Sony Music Entertainment Australia. Written by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac – this new release is a massive slice of pure pop joy – that stars as the end credits track on the upcoming blockbuster film Johnny English Strikes Again, in cinemas now through Universal Pictures.

Listen to 'Moves' now.

When Olly began working on his forthcoming sixth studio album, the UK pop star reached out to Ed Sheeran and could not believe his ears when he heard 'Moves'. Both Olly and Ed were eager to feature a melodic US rapper to the track – and the only name both on their lists – was Snoop Dogg.

"Snoop was just perfect for the song," Olly enthuses. "There's no one else that has that much character in his raps. He's such an original."

What began as a really good track, was then transformed into an instant classic.

Olly Murs who joined The Voice UK as a judge last season and into 2019, is currently placing the finishing touches on his upcoming new album – his first record since 2016's 24 HRS which features the AU certified GOLD smash hit 'You Don't Know Love'. In Australia alone – the music of Olly Murs has achieved MULTI-PLATINUM status across a number of releases – including the 2 x PLATINUM single 'Up' featuring Demi Lovato, the 2 x PLATINUM and ARIA Top 5 smash 'Dear Darlin' and the 4 x PLATINUM certified single 'Trouble Maker' which peaked at #1 on local airplay and secured a Top 5 ARIA position. In addition, Olly Murs' 2012 album Right Place Right Time has claimed GOLD certification locally.
