After a record stint in the job, Nathan Bazley will be stepping back from the role of presenter of Behind the News at the end of the current season.
Since starting in June 2007, Bazley has been in front of the camera for more than 10 years and is the longest-serving BTN host. He is also BTN's Series Producer and he will be continuing in that role, as well as working behind the scenes to lead and mentor the next generation of young reporters.
ABC Director, News Gaven Morris said: "For the past decade Nathan has been a trusted and influential figure in the lives of millions of Australian children. He has played a pivotal role in the Behind the News team, inspiring young people to develop an interest in news and current affairs."
Over the past 12 months Bazley was also EP of the groundbreaking Kokoda VR project.
