Marula Oil

Marula Oil

Marula Oil has been widely reclaimed for its nourishing skincare properties, with industry professionals praising its fatty acid composition and oxidative stability, as well as the ease and quickness with which it is absorbed into skin. These qualities have led to an increase in the popularity of the oil being included in lotions, makeups, and hair products. Progressively in demand, brands producing the natural oil are growing and sales are skyrocketing around the world, with a vast range of Marula Oil products hitting the shelves.

With so many options now, consumers are overwhelmed with choice and price range. However, fear not, there are Marula Oil products out there to satisfy both your skin and your wallet. Whilst some Marula Oil products exceed $150 and include unnecessary diluting, even toxic ingredients, these are not the only options. Lux Aestiva Marula Oil is a rare to find, single natural ingredient 30ml bottle of goodness, available for $99, a fraction of the cost of competing brands.

To achieve maximum results from the glorious Marula Oil, it is important to ensure the quality is superior. A cold pressed, directly from the drought resistant Marula trees' fruit kernels, housed in a Violet Miron glass would be most effective to deeply hydrate, reduce fine lines and redness and also improve skin elasticity. Violet Miron glass is used to store highly natural oils as it does not allow light from the visible spectrum to penetrate the product, protecting and preserving it against the damaging effects of light. Lux Aestiva Marula Oil is rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids Omega 9 – oleic, Omega 6 - linoleic and vitamins E and C, making this lightweight non-comedogenic easily absorbable and suitable for all skin types.

For best results, when the sun rises and sets, warm a couple drops of Marula Oil in your hands and gently press into cleansed, toned skin on the face, neck, and décolletage.

Review: Having sensitive skin prone to breakouts, I've always steered away from oils, but the I really loved this Marula Oil for it's noursihing gentle properties, that helped rehydrate my skin during these cooler months where the effects of the cold, wind and heating dry out my skin.  Nightly works for me as it gives my skin time to absorb overnight and not feel oily when I wake.
